Fujisan et les barques was photographed with a film camera in Kawaguchiko, in Japan, in 2024. It wasn’t 7 o’clock in the morning yet. The air was cold, the day had risen on a clear, lilac sky. The volcano was constantly reshaping under each new variation of light. The bends of the lake were empty, almost.
